- 1 k Boneless Chicken (cut into small pieces)
- 4 Garlic pods
- 2 cups Onion (chopped)
- 7 Green chilies
- 1 tsp Tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Chilly sauce
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Gram masala
- Red color
- Curry leaves
- Oil for frying
- For marinating
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Gram masala
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 2 tsp Tomato sauce
- 2 tsp Chilly sauce
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- Red (Tandoori) color
- Salt
Methods/steps
- Wash the chicken well and drain out excess water.
- Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marinating for about 2 hours.
- Fry the marinated chicken pieces in oil.
- Remove excess oil by placing them on a tissue.
- Heat little oil in a pan.
- Fry garlic, till it turns brown.
- Add onions and fry, till they turn brown.
- Add green chilies and sauté for a while.
- Add fried chicken pieces followed the sauces and sauté for sometime.
- Add pepper powder, meat masala, a pinch of color mixed in 2 tbsp of water and salt, if required.
- Stir for sometime on a low flame.
- Add curry leaves.
- Remove from flame.
