    Ingredients




    • 1 kg King fish
    • 2 tbsp Chilly powder
    • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
    • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
    • Salt
    • 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
    • 1/4 tsp Amchoor powder(Dry mango powder) (can add a tsp of vinegar or tamarind pulp instead)
    • 1 Onion (medium) (sliced)
    • Oil for deep frying




    Methods/steps


    1. Clean and cut fish into medium pieces.
    2. Grind together all powders, salt and fennel seeds along with a tsp of oil and a little water into a smooth paste.
    3. Marinate the fish with the above masala for atleast 1/2 an hr.
    4. Heat oil in a pan
    5. Deep fry the marinated fish.
    6. When the fish gets half cooked, add 1/4 of the sliced onions.
    7. Fry, till the onions turn golden brown.
